Sofia Backpacking Hostel Reccomendations

When I first landed in Sofia on a cold January in 2005, I took a taxi to a hostel that I had booked called 'The Rooms'

The Rooms Hostel is a small friendly place run by a woman Called Vera (Pronounced Verra). The hostel has roughly eight beds spread accross four rooms, so is a bit like a guest house.

The reasonable prices include a basic breakfast.

The Rooms Hostel is within walking distance of the Sofia Coach Station, where you can get coaches to destinations all over bulgaria.
I have taken coaches to and from places including Bourgas, Veliko Tarnovo, Plovdiv & even all the way back from Smolyan in the Southern Rodopi Mountains near the Greek border. This took about five hours, with one break at a cafe en route.

Feel free to reccommend your favourite hostels in Sofia. I have heard that the Art Hostel is good, but have yet to go.
