Birdwatching

Birdwatching enthusiasts are flocking to bulgaria to see a wide range of exotic and rare birds in a natural habitat, that bulgaria has in abundance.

In July 2009 I visited village of Malomirovo near Elhovo and stayed with Cliff & Andrea who have recently permanently moved from the uk to their house which they have being renovating over the last four years.

They run http://www.bulgariaphotoholidays.co.uk/index.html which primarily offers courses in wildlife photography, but is also a great place to stay for those people who wish to experience bulgarian village life, whilst being among friendly english hosts.

Whilst I stayed with Cliff & Andrea we went out round the village on their Donkey cart, and saw the village including a number of White Storks nesting on top of poles. This is truly a great place to relax and learn from Cliffs lifetime of photographic experience, which took him professionally around the world.
